The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the daily management of HR activities, primarily managing the administration of company programs, policies, and procedures. This role will consult for multiple industries to which the shareholders assign them.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning and Management

  • Manage HR related activities including staffing compensation, managing records, and employee relations

  • Review and recommend policy and procedure update and compliance with federal and state employment regulations

  • Manages and administers various employee benefit programs

  • Manage liability claims

  • Submit work-related injuries documentation to Work Comp carrier, track injuries, and OSHA logs

  • Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices, trends, and data points to drive enhancements and continuous improvement.

  • Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies and make recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team.

  • Assists and partners with others on the administration team to support leadership efforts including client visits, audits, and other special projects.

  • Maintain confidentiality for HR-related issues

Talent Management and Development

  • Managers and oversees new hire onboarding programs

  • Partner with site leadership team on succession planning, skill gap, and development and ensure that they are consistently reviewed, and the action takes place

  • Ensure coaching and feedback on performance systems are in place

  • Enhance programs to drive development and employee engagement

Employee Relations

  • Effectively investigates, documents, and resolve employee-related issues and concerns

  • Advise, guide, and support managers and supervisors with all matters relating to employee relations

  • Promote inclusion and diversity through employee engagement programs

  • Collect and maintain all records and reports pertaining to HR and also ensure compliance with applicable employment local, state, and federal law

Compensation and Payroll

  • Assist senior leadership on compensation structure, rewards programs and aligns current market

  • Assist in payroll administration and benefits with the accounting team and brokerage team

Performance Management

  • Drive execution of employee performance programs and expectations to ensure employment development

  • Ensure expectations are communicated

Education and Experience:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or Business required

  • Minimum 5+ years’ human resource management experience preferred

  • Experience working with an HRIS system is a plus.

  • Previous experience supervising a team

  • Consulting experience is a plus

  • Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, must maintain tact and diplomacy in difficult situations, and be able to effectively manage highly confidential data and information.

  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work responsibilities appropriately while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Must be highly reliable and demonstrate ownership of job duties.

  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision and work collectively with department team members.

  • Must be able to gather and analyze information and to identify and solve problems in a timely manner.

  • Operates with a Customer Service mindset; identifies customer needs, adjusts approach based on customer needs, has a helpful and courteous attitude.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Internet Explorer.
